Caliber Mining & Logistics shares listed on the NSE and BSE on July 24 with robust gains. The stock’s debut price on the NSE was Rs 500.25 apiece, up 17.98 per cent from the issue price of Rs 424 apiece. On the other hand, the stock listed on the BSE at Rs 504 apiece, up by 18.86 per cent.

Applicants who were allotted a minimum of one lot or 35 shares of Caliber Mining & Logistics would have gained at least Rs 2,800 (Rs 504 - Rs 424 x 35) once the mining company's shares listed on the exchange. Soon after Caliber Mining & Logistics shares were listed, two lakh shares of the mining company traded hands on the NSE. The Maharashtra-based company's total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3,294.94 crore.

Caliber Mining & Logistics IPO was oversubscribed 146.64 times in its subscription period which started on July 17 and ended on July 21. Investors across categories placed bids for over 1.14 billion shares compared to the 7.8 million shares offered for subscription.

The mining company's non-institutional investors (NII) quota was booked 267.36 times. The Caliber Mining & Logistics IPO was booked 41.15 times in the retail individual investor category. The mining company's issue was booked 240.71 times in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category.

Caliber Mining & Logistics: Listed Peers

After the successful listing of its shares, Caliber Mining & Logistics has joined the ranks of its listed industry peers, which include other infrastructure, contract mining, and logistics players such as Power Mech Projects, NCC, Sindhu Trade Links, and Dilip Buildcon.

Caliber Mining & Logistics IPO: Objective

Caliber Mining & Logistics will use the funds raised via the initial public offering to repay or prepay certain outstanding borrowings, fund capital expenditure for the purchase of machinery, and for general corporate purposes.

At the time of writing, shares of Caliber Mining & Logistics were trading at Rs 492.95 apiece, down 1.96 per cent from their listing price on the NSE. The stock traded at Rs 488.65 apiece down by 3.5 per cent on the BSE.
