November 2026 is bringing several important income tax compliance deadlines for individuals, businesses, employers, and tax professionals. The month has deadlines that include payments of tax deducted at source (TDS) and tax collected at source (TCS), issuance of tax certificates and income tax return (ITR) filing deadlines for audit and transfer pricing cases. Taxpayers should identify the deadlines that are applicable to them to avoid missing the statutory requirements; here is a list of deadlines that taxpayers must stay aware of.

November 7: November 07, 2026, is the deadline for depositing TDS and TCS collected or deducted during October 2026. Government offices that are depositing these amounts without an income tax challan must also transfer the funds to the Central Government by this date. Other obligations that are due on November 07, 2026, include the deposit of Securities Transaction Tax (STT) and Commodities Transaction Tax (CTT) collected during the month of October. Buyers are required to submit declarations under Form 127 for Applicable purchases of goods without TCS and must also complete the requirements.

November 14: Tax deductors must issue Form 132 by November 14 for specified TDS transactions that involve September 2026. The certificate enables taxpayers to verify the tax deducted from relevant payments. Deductors should ensure that the documents are issued within this timeline.

November 15: Another key date for tax deductors, collectors and reporting entities. The deadline entails Form 133 and Form 131. It relates to TCS certificates for the quarter ending on September 30, 2026, while the latter form is applicable to specified non-salary TDS payments for the same quarter. Government offices must also furnish Form 137 that covers TDS and TCS adjustments for October.

November 21: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended ITR filing deadline for specified audit cases for Assessment Year (AY) 2026-27 from October 31 to November 21, 2026.

November 30: This is the deadline for ITR filing in specified transfer pricing cases for AY 2026-27. It applies to taxpayers required to submit accountants’ reports under Section 92E of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and generally covers relevant transactions that are international. This deadline is separate from the November 21, 2026 deadline.
