Families in rural Rajasthan waiting to receive financial aid as part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) scheme may receive the next instalment of the housing support soon. The state government has announced that the next instalment will be released on December 23, 2025.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will transfer a total of Rs 100 crores into the bank accounts of 18,500 beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. The money will be distributed at the farmers’ conference being organised in Merta, Nagaur district. The event is scheduled to begin at 1 pm on December 23, and the transfer process will be launched by the Chief Minister digitally.
Under the PMAY-G scheme, Rajasthan has been assigned a target of 24,97,121 houses. So far, 24,35,942 individuals have registered under the scheme, and approvals have been granted for 24,33,490 houses. As per official data, construction of 18,07,863 houses has been completed as of December 11, indicating steady progress towards the overall target.
Applicants can check online to clarify if their account has been credited with the instalment on December 23. Here's how you check the beneficiary status:
Candidates can visit the official website of PMAY-G and log in using their existing credentials.
Locate and click on 'Stakeholders'.
Click the option which states 'Indira Awas Yojana or PMAY-G Beneficiary'.
Enter the registration number and the captcha code shown, and click submit.
The portal will display the present status of the beneficiary account.
The process of beneficiary selection under PMAY-G has certain eligibility criteria. The selection has been prioritised with respect to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and female beneficiaries. According to government directives, around 60 per cent of the total houses approved will be allotted to SC and ST beneficiaries.
If the instalment is not credited in the beneficiary's account on December 23, they should not worry. The application can be put on hold, and/or the amount may be disbursed in the next instalment. It is recommended that applicants periodically log in to their dashboard to check the status of their instalment.
