What is the PM Kisan Scheme?
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was launched in 2019 by the Centre. The scheme aims to provide financial aid to farmers with cultivable land holdings. This transfer is made in DBT mode into the Aadhaar-linked bank account of farmers to avoid any intermediary involvement.
