PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana: The central government has launched various schemes from time to time in the interest of farmers and the general public. The central government launched the PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana in 2019. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the applicant has to deposit Rs 55 every month. On turning 60, the applicant is given an amount of rupees three thousand every month. In this investment scheme, the government deposits an amount equal to the monthly amount of the depositors.

When was it started?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PMKMY) was started on 12 September 2019. Its goal is to help poor farmers in their old age. A fixed amount comes into their account every month. Any small and marginal farmer can take advantage of this. To take advantage of this scheme, you have to deposit 55 rupees every month. At the same time, after you deposit 55 rupees, the government will also deposit 55 rupees in it. This way, Rs 110 will be deposited in your account every month.

Will the money be lost on the death of the beneficiary?

No, if the beneficiary dies, his wife can contribute to this scheme and avail the pension. If the beneficiary's wife does not want to continue the scheme, then the money will be returned to her along with interest.

How much money will have to be deposited every month?

- If your age is 18 years then you will have to deposit 55 rupees every month. Candidates of 29 years of age will have to deposit 100 rupees every month.

- If your age is 40 years then you will have to deposit 200 rupees every month.

Note: You have to keep in mind that an equal amount to what you deposit every month will be deposited by the government in your pension account.

Eligibility for this scheme

• To avail the benefits of this scheme, any worker working in the unorganized sector can apply

• The monthly income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 15,000

• The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 40 years

• The applicant should not be an income tax payee or taxpayer

• The applicant should not be covered under EPFO, NPS and ESIC

• It is mandatory to have a mobile phone, Aadhar number and savings account
