While official details and launch dates have yet to be confirmed by the company, many rumours suggests that the Pixel 9a will be released in the United States today, with a likely debut in India on March 20th. Before the expected launch, the Pixel 9a has been trending online, with rumoured details about its features, pricing, and availability.

Expected Prices of the Pixel 9a

The Pixel 9a is rumoured to start at $499, which is approximately Rs 43,000, for the 128GB variant in the U.S., while the 256GB model may cost $599, around Rs 51,800. In India, the pricing could range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 52,999, factoring in taxes and duties. While some speculation is that the 128GB model could be priced below Rs 50,000.

Features of the Pixel 9a

It is anticipated that the Pixel 9a would include a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with richer blacks and colours. The device, which is powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor, should provide seamless performance and effective multitasking. In terms of photography, it is rumoured to sport a 48MP primary camera paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens, along with a 13MP selfie camera for high-quality photos. The Pixel 9a will offer 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB.

Battery life is set to improve, with a larger 5,100mAh battery offering longer usage times and fast charging capabilities. According to reports, the phone would be available in four different colours, which are porcelain (white), peony (pink), obsidian (black), and iris (blue). As of 2:30 PM today, the Pixel 8, which was previously priced at Rs 75,999, is now available on Flipkart for Rs 49,999, with a 34 per cent savings on the 128GB model. This makes the Pixel 8 a more affordable choice for those seeking a flagship experience, particularly when considering the extra savings on EMI purchases.
