Stock Market Cues Today: On November 11, the Gift Nifty opened lower but gained 0.12 per cent to trade around 25738.5 levels, indicating a positive start for the benchmark indices. Earlier on November 10, the Sensex and the Nifty ended a three-session losing streak.
On November 10, the Nifty 50 closed at 25,574.35 up by 82.05 points or 0.32 per cent and the Sensex finished at 83,535.35 level up by 319.07 points or 0.38 per cent.
Stock Market Cues On November 11
On November 11, D-street is expected to react to several overnight changes such as significant overnight changes in key commodity prices, the announcement of Q2 results, the likelihood of a US Federal Reserve rate cut and recent progress in the finalisation of an India US trade deal.
US Federal Reserve Rate Cut Likelihood
Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran pushed for additional interest rate cuts in 2025 according to a CNBC report. The Federal Reserve Governor added that the US Federal Reserve should announce a third consecutive interest-rate cut in December amid better-than-expected inflation.
US-India Trade Deal
US President Donald Trump said that his administration is currently working on "a very different deal" with India than the deals which have been negotiated by the two countries in the past. He added that the US is trying to get a ‘fair’ deal with India.
"We're making a deal with India, a much different deal than we had in the past. So right now, they don't love me, but they'll love us again. We're getting a fair deal, just a fair trade deal. We had pretty unfair trade deals...But we're getting close. Scott, I think we're pretty close to doing a deal that's good for everybody, right?" the US president said.
Q2 Results Today
Bajaj Finserv, Tata Power, BSE, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL), Bharat Forge, Biocon, and Torrent Power are among the 380+ companies scheduled to announce their Q2 results today, November 11, 2025. Other companies releasing earnings today include Bosch, Container Corporation of India, Fortis Healthcare, Hindustan Copper, Max Financial Services, and PI Industries.
FII Outflows
Foreign institutional investors remained net sellers on November 10 selling Indian equities worth Rs 4,114.85 crore. On the other hand, domestic institutional investors purchased Indian equities worth Rs 5,805.26 crore. So far FIIs have net sold equities worth Rs 5,747.51 crore and DIIs have purchased equities worth Rs 22,483.2 crore.
Crude Oil Prices On November 11
Crude oil prices slipped in the early hours of November 11, the price of Brent Crude remained around $63.91 down by $0.15 or 0.23 per cent and the price of West Texas Intermediate crude remained around $59.97 down by $0.16 or 0.27 per cent.
Gold Rate On November 11
Gold prices inched upwards in the early hours of November 11, the price of 24 karat gold remained around Rs 12,383 per gram, the price of 22 karat gold was around Rs 11,351 per gram and the price of 18 karat remained around Rs 9,288 per gram.
Asian Indices Trade Mixed
On November 11, major Asian indices traded mixed with the Nikkei 225 and the KOSPI gaining 0.41 per cent and 1.33 per cent respectively in early trade. On the other hand the Hang Seng and the Shanghai Composite slipped 0.14 per cent and 0.35 per cent respectively.
US Market Indices
US market indices such as the Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 finished in the green on November 10, closing higher by 2.27 per cent and 1.54 per cent respectively. On the other hand the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished higher by 0.81 per cent.
