Share Market News: The stock market is expected to factor into various global and domestic cues on July 25. Among the domestic cues the June quarter earnings of various listed companies are expected to impact the market today. Global cues such as crude oil price fluctuations, changes in gold prices and the signing of the India-UK trade deal are expected to impact the stock market today.

On July 25, the Gift Nifty began the session lower by 0.062 per cent at 24,952.50, indicating a weak start for the benchmark Nifty. On July 24, the Nifty 50, ended at 25,062.1 down by 157.8 points or 0.63 per cent. The 30-share Sensex closed at 82,184.17, shedding 542.47 points or 0.66 per cent.

India-UK Trade Deal

D-street is expected to factor in the signing of the India-UK free trade agreement (FTA) on July 25. The agreement was signed on July 24 during PM Modi’s visit to the United Kingdom. The trade deal seeks to grow bilateral trade between the two countries to $120 billion by 2030. The agreement is likely to result in reduced tariffs on the export of leather, footwear and clothing, and on the import of British automobiles.

Crude Oil Prices On July 25

The prices of crude oil edged higher in the early hours of July 25 with the price of West Texas Intermediate Crude trading at $66.39 up by $0.36 or 0.55 per cent. The price of Brent Crude also edged upwards, trading at $69.57 up by $0.39 or 0.56 per cent.

Gold Rates Today

Gold prices witnessed a slight decline on July 25 as the price of one gram of 24 karat purity gold remained around Rs 10,111. On the other hand the prices of one gram of 22 karat gold and 18 karat gold were Rs 9269 and Rs 7584 respectively, according to the Goodreturns website.

Stocks In Focus On July 25

Companies such as Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Cipla, Bank of Baroda, Aadhar Housing Finance, ACME Solar Holdings, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation, Laurus Labs, Paras Defence and Space Technologies, Petronet LNG, Poonawalla Fincorp, Steel Authority of India, SBI Cards and Payment Services, Sobha, and Tata Chemicals will announce their financial earnings for the quarter ended June 30,2025 today.

Larsen & Toubro Share Price

Shares of L&T are expected to be in focus on July 25. According to a Bloomberg report Torrent Power Ltd is in talks to purchase the thermal business unit of Larsen & Toubro.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Share Price

Sun Pharma share price is expected to be in focus on July 25 as the company informed the exchanges that it has signed an agreement with End Purchaser Plaintiffs involved in a generic pharmaceuticals pricing antitrust case in the US.

Enviro Infra Engineers

Enviro Infra Engineers shares will be in focus on July 25 after the company informed the exchanges that it has bagged an order worth Rs 221.3 crore for a Engineering, Procurement and Construction of sewage treatment plants from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

GR Infraprojects

GR Infraprojects share price is expected to be in focus after the company informed the exchanges that it came out as the lowest bidder fir an EPC project for the construction of Giridih Bypass in Jharkhand.

Adani Enterprises

Shares of Adani Enterprises are likely to be in focus on July 25 after the company informed the exchanges that it plans to pare 50 per cent stake in its subsidiary, Kutch Copper Tubes. Adani Enterprises plans to sell its stake to MetTube Mauritius. Adani Enterprises will also acquire a 50 per cent shareholding in MetTube Copper India.

US Markets Finish Mixed

The Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 closed in the green on July 24, ending the session higher by 0.18 per cent and 0.07 per cent respectively. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished the session mixed, down by 0.7 per cent.

Asian Indices Trade Mixed On July 25

Major Asian indices such as the KOSPI, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng and the Shanghai Composite opened marginally lower. At the time of writing the Nikkei 225 and the Hang Seng traded lower by 0.77 per cent and 1.19 per cent respectively. However the KOSPI and the Shanghai Composite bounced back after opening lower and traded higher by up to 0.34 per cent.
