TMCV Share Price: Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles arm listed on the stock exchanges on November 12 as Tata Motors Ltd under the ticker name TMCV. On the NSE, TMCV shares opened at Rs 335 per share, up 28.48 per cent from the demerger reference price of Rs 260.75. On the BSE, the stock listed at Rs 330.25 apiece, a 26.10 per cent premium to the demerger price of Rs 261.90.

According to a notice, about 368 crore equity shares with a face value of Rs 2 each have been listed under the ticker TMCV.

This listing completes Tata Motors’ long-awaited demerger into two separate listed entities. The first is Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV), which includes electric vehicles and Jaguar Land Rover and the second one is Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles Ltd (TMCV).

Post-listing, TMCV shares made a high of Rs 345 apiece on the NSE, up nearly 3 per cent from the opening price. As of 11:04 AM, TMCV shares traded at Rs 325.15 per share. So far 15.90 million equity shares changed hands on its counters on the NSE, and about 1.09 million shares on the BSE.

At the opening price, TMCV’s market capitalisation stood at around Rs 1.20 lakh crore, according to data available on the BSE website. The shares will trade in the ‘T’ Group for the initial 10 sessions, where trading is done only on a trade-to-trade basis. This means only delivery-based transactions will be allowed and no intraday trading.

As per Tata Motors’ earlier announcement, shareholders were entitled to receive one share of the demerged commercial vehicles arm for every share held in the parent company as of the record date, October 14, 2025.

TMPV Share Price

Meanwhile, around the same time, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) shares traded nearly 1 per cent lower at Rs 403.65 apiece on the NSE from their previous close.

After the demerger, TMPV stock began trading on October 14 as a separately listed entity, opening at Rs 400 per share. Before the demerger, Tata Motors’ stock had closed at Rs 660.75 apiece. Since its debut, the stock has gained around 1 per cent.

All eyes are now on TMPV’s first quarterly results post-demerger, which is set to release on November 14.
