Shares of Hy-Tech Engineers made a strong debut on the stock exchanges on September 1, listing at Rs 75 on the NSE. This was a 41.50 per cent premium over the initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 53, giving investors a gain of Rs 22 per share.
On the BSE, the stock opened at Rs 72, translating into a 35.85 per cent premium, or Rs 19, over the issue price.
The listing was lower than the grey market premium (GMP) indication. The GMP on September 1 suggested that the shares could list at around a 66.04 per cent premium to the IPO price. GMP is an unofficial indicator of investor sentiment and does not assure a particular listing price.
At Rs 75, Hy-Tech Engineers had a market capitalisation of around Rs 711 crore. At the IPO's upper price band of Rs 53, its market capitalisation was about Rs 503 crore.
Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Subscription Status
The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO attracted strong demand during its four-day bidding period from August 24 to August 27. The issue was subscribed 247.39 times overall. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed 249.71 times the portion reserved for them, while the non-institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed 412.96 times. Retail investors bid for 175.10 times the shares available to them.
The issue received bids for 4.43 billion shares against 179.27 million shares on offer. The total number of applications stood at 4.69 million.
Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Objectives
Hy-Tech Engineers raised Rs 135.73 crore through the IPO. The fresh issue accounted for Rs 60 crore, while the offer for sale by existing shareholders was worth Rs 75.73 crore.
The company plans to use Rs 29.97 crore of the issue proceeds for capital expenditure on machinery and equipment at its Kavathe, Shirwal and Pithampur Unit-I facilities. Another Rs 16 crore will go towards the repayment or prepayment of outstanding borrowings. Rs 5.96 crore has been earmarked for general corporate purposes, while Rs 18.26 crore represents issue expenses.

Hy-Tech Engineers was incorporated in December 1978 and manufactures and supplies hydraulic fittings for industrial applications. According to the red herring prospectus (RHP), its product portfolio includes more than 11,000 SKUs, covering DIN-metric fittings, JIC flared and flareless fittings, O-Ring Face Seal fittings, conversion fittings and customised hydraulic fittings.
The company operates a B2B business model and caters to domestic and international customers through direct sales, authorised distributors and distribution partners. Its products are used in construction machinery, automobiles, farming equipment, injection moulding machines and hydraulic systems. Certifications for railway and defence applications also add to its customer base.
As of March 31, 2026, Hy-Tech Engineers had an international presence in the US, Belgium, Poland, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, the UAE, Thailand and Germany.
The company has manufacturing facilities in Thane, Shirwal, Kavathe and Pithampur. Its Nashik facility supplies forged components to these units, forming part of its backward integration setup.
