The global cryptocurrency market decreased by 0.85 per cent to $1.18 trillion in the last 24 hours to 10 am IST on Friday. The trading volume also fell 19.52 per cent to $44.15 billion.
DeFi accounted for 10.13 per cent or $4.47 billion of the total crypto trading volume globally, while stablecoins’ overall volume was $39.11 billion, according to Coinmarketcap.com.
Arbitrum ARB was the most trending cryptocurrency at 10 am IST on Friday, up 9.01 per cent to $1.42. It was the top gainer for the second-consecutive day. The trading volume was $1.6 billion.
Flare FLR was the top loser, down 6.87 per cent to $0.03549, and the trading volume was $13.9 million.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin retreated 1.42 per cent to $28,189.41. Its 24-hour trading volume was $19.3 billion. It is currently ranked number one on Coinmarketcap.com, based on the market cap. Its overall market share was 46.22 per cent at 10 am IST, down 0.40 per cent over the previous day.
Ethereum: Ethereum price was up by 0.42 per cent to $1,805.25, with a trading volume of $8.46 billion in the last 24 hours.
Tether: Tether traded flat at $0.9999 at 10 am IST, with a 24-hour trading volume of $30.2 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.com.
Other Altcoins
Solana’s (SOL) price decreased by 3.01 per cent to $20.57 in the last 24 hours.

Avalanche was trading at $17.44, down 0.85 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume stood at $181 million.
Cardano (ADA) was up 0.43 per cent. It was ranked seventh, with a 24-hour trading volume of $318 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 0.60 per cent with a 24-hour trading volume of $301 million.
Shiba Inu was down 0.34 per cent to $0.00001065 at 10 am IST.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
The total trading volume of DeFi was $4.47 billion, up 10.13 per cent, in the last 24 hours.
Yearn.finance was up 0.36 per cent to $8,807.05 in the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour market cap was $288,764,281.
