As per a report by Hindustan Times, YEIDA officials have revealed that almost 973 plots are being offered. The report reveals that within 15 days, this scheme will be launched. It is expected that these plots will be of the average price of Rs 35,000 per sq metre.
Details Of The Plots Offered
YEIDA is expected to offer 973 plots of varied sizes. An estimate of 162 to 290 square meters can be expected for these plots. They are located in sectors 15C, 18, and 24A. These are upcoming locations along the Yamuna Expressway and in close proximity to the Jewar Airport.
Application Details
Prospective buyers are required to pay an upfront of 10 per cent of the plot's cost as the registration fee. The final allotment will be conducted through a draw system to keep the process fair and square for the applicants. This brings fairness and transparency in the allotment process.
Eligibility and Reservations
As a way to provide social equity to the farmers in the locality who gave up their lands during the acquisition process, the authority has reserved 17.5 per cent exclusively for them. Another 5 per cent is reserved for those who have functioning and industrial units in the area. The remaining 77.5 per cent of the plots are reserved for the general public.
In the past few years, the area has boomed with investment and growth, all due to the infrastructure growth in the area. Earlier, a report shared by Colliers stated, "Jewar is emerging as one of the fastest-growing real estate micro-markets, driven by robust economic growth prospects fueled by key infrastructure developments such as the Jewar Airport (Noida International Airport), metro extension, and themed city projects."
