To avail of the pensions, the beneficiaries must provide a life certificate annually. Also, the Aadhaar technology has enabled biometric authentication of people, allowing pensioners to opt for biometric authentication through the Jeevan Rekha Portal, Akshaya Kendra, or any other government-designated service centers. The Jeevan Rekha portal provides services such as login and registration for schemes like Sevana Pension, Jeevan Rekha pension, Sevana civil supplies service, and many more.
The Portal’s Objective
The Kerala government aims to provide financial assistance to elderly, widowed, disabled, and other needy people via the portal.
