Bitcoin Prices Steady Near Record Levels; Ethereum Below $3,000

Cryptocurrency markets remained steady on Saturday, with Bitcoin hovering around $117,000 after recently touching a record high. Ethereum stayed below the $3,000-mark, while most other major tokens traded without significant changes. At the time of writing, the total crypto market cap saw a marginal gain of 0.07 per cent to $3.67 trillion, even as the 24-hour trading volume decreased by 11.26 per cent to $194.13 billion.

Stellar XLM was the most trending as well as top gainer cryptocurrency. Its price was up by 25.65 per cent to $118,336.54. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.92 billion. Pi PI was the top loser, and it was down by 9.21 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $172.71 million.

The DeFi market cap was at $49.92 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin prices declined by 0.15 per cent to $117,727.86 in the past 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $75.54 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.60 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were down by 1.57 per cent to $2,956.32. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31.96 billion, and its market dominance was 9.2 per cent.

Tether (USDT): Tether was trading at $1. It was up by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $132.10 billion. It is currently ranked fourth on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana prices were down by 1.99 per cent to $163.08. Its 24-hour trading volume was $6.51 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $21.07, up by 3.13 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $597.01 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7203, up by 3.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.87 billion.

Dogecoin was up by 1.03 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.2024.

Shiba Inu was down by 2.63 per cent to $0.00001326.

DeFi Coin was down by 2.24 per cent, and it was trading at $0.002442.

Yearn Finance was down by 2.88 per cent to $5,617.18, with a 24-hour trading volume of $23.2 million.
