Cryptocurrency Prices Today: Bitcoin Holds Above USD 109,000, Ethereum Crosses USD 2,700

Bitcoin prices remained steady above $109,000 on Wednesday, as the broader crypto market witnessed a modest rise in market capitalisation. At the time of writing, the total market capitalization gained by 1.22 to $3.45 trillion, while the 24-hour trading volume increased by 6.99 per cent to 141.1 billion.

The Sandbox SAND was the most trending cryptocurrency. Its price was up by 3.21 per cent to $15.61. Its 24-hour trading volume was $76.52 million. Kaia KAIA was the top gainer, up by 18.64 per cent, with a 24-hour trading volume of $162.91 million, while DeXe DEXE was the top loser. It was down by 3.99 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $46.52 million.

The DeFi market cap was at $41.34 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

“The surge in Ethereum price reflects growing institutional confidence and network fundamentals. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust has recorded 23 consecutive trading days without an outflow, demonstrating sustained institutional demand,” he added.

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin prices were up by 0.18 per cent to $109,532.37. Its 24-hour trading volume was $53.60 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.60 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were up by 4.63 per cent to $2,794.90. Its 24-hour trading volume was $33.93 billion, and its market dominance was 9.30 per cent.

Tether (USDT): Tether was trading at $1. It was down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $93.44 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana prices were up by 4.39 per cent to $164.87. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.37 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $22.19, up by 2.55 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $509.86 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7183, up by 2.81 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $818.76 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin was up by 3.63 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1975.

Shiba Inu was up by 2.96 per cent to $0.00001322.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi Coin was up by 1.22 per cent, and it was trading at $0.002810.

Yearn Finance was up by 9.14 per cent to $5,807.76, with a 24-hour trading volume of $52.84 million.
