Bitcoin Trades Above USD 109,000, Ethereum at USD 2,600 as Crypto Market Rises

Bitcoin prices were up by 3.64 per cent and Ethereum prices were up by 7.54 per cent. MultiversX EGLD was the most trending cryptocurrency, while Fartcoin FARTCOIN was the top gainer, and AB AB was the top loser

Bitcoin Trading Above $109,000 on Tuesday as the global cryptocurrency market cap saw a marginal rise. At the time of writing, the total market capitalization gained by 3.88 to $3.41 trillion, while the 24-hour trading volume increased by 38.43 per cent to $131.49 billion.

MultiversX EGLD was the most trending cryptocurrency. Its price was up by 4.77 per cent to $15.61. Its 24-hour trading volume was $22.97 million. Fartcoin FARTCOIN was the top gainer, up by 21.98 per cent, with a 24-hour trading volume of $249.83 million, while AB AB was the top loser. It was down by 3.58 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $112.91 million.

The DeFi market cap was at $37.64 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

CoinSwitch said that Bitcoin soared 3.7 per cent over the past 24 hours, crossing above $109,000 and nearing its all-time high, as leveraged traders were caught off guard. Over $110 million in short positions were liquidated within an hour, with a total of $330 million in shorts wiped out over the course of the day.

“Despite the surge, QCP Capital flagged signs of “fatigue,” noting that implied volatility is at one-year lows and warning that a decisive break above $110K or below $100K will be needed to sustain momentum. Ethereum followed suit, climbing approximately 8 per cent above the $2,540–2,620 resistance zone, buoyed by $295 million in weekly institutional inflows into ETH spot ETFs, marking the highest weekly figure among all crypto assets,” it added.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin prices were up by 3.64 per cent to $109,310.60. Its 24-hour trading volume was $59.30 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.60 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were up by 7.54 per cent to $2,671.32. Its 24-hour trading volume was $25.67 billion, and its market dominance was 9.30 per cent.

Tether (USDT): Tether was trading at $1. It was down by 0.05 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $85.40 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana prices were up by 5.28 per cent to $157.99. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.60 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $21.65, up by 6.37 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $441.38 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.6990, up by 6.08 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $716.27 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin was up by 5.75 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1912.

Shiba Inu was up by 4.07 per cent to $0.00001287.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi Coin was up by 1.22 per cent, and it was trading at $0.002624.

Yearn Finance was up by 4.22 per cent to $5,323.23, with a 24-hour trading volume of $16.43 million.
