Tata Capital IPO Allotment: The bidding window of the initial public offering (IPO) of Tata Capital is scheduled to close on October 8, 2025. The non-banking financial company’s (NBFC’s) public issue was fully booked on the third day of bidding, following two days of tepid demand. Following the closure of its bidding window, the share allotment status of the IPO will be finalised on October 9.

The grey market premium (GMP) for Tata Capital shares is Rs 7 per share on the third day of subscription. The GMP for Tata Capital unlisted shares hints at a muted D-Street debut with a premium of more than 2 per cent at Rs 333 apiece, according to multiple websites that monitor the demand for unlisted shares in the grey market.

Tata Capital IPO Subscription Details

Tata Capital’s IPO was booked 1.35 times on October 8. Across categories, investors applied for over 448.90 million shares against the 333.40 million shares offered for subscription.

The retail portion was subscribed 92 per cent, as investors placed bids for over 153.29 million shares against the 166.1 million shares set aside for the category. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) applied for over 101.50 million shares as against the 71.10 million offered for subscription for the category, leading to the mainboard issue being booked 1.43 times. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) oversubscribed their quota in the IPO by 2.01 times, placing bids for over 190.89 million shares compared to the 94.89 million shares reserved for them.

Employees of the company bid for 3.08 million shares compared to the 1.20 million shares set aside for the category, leading to the issue being booked 2.57 times.

Tata Capital IPO Details

Tata Capital IPO is worth Rs 15,511.87 crore and consists of a fresh issuance of 210 million shares amounting to Rs 6,846 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 265.80 million shares amounting to Rs 8,665.87 crore.

The minimum lot size for retail individual investors interested in applying for the IPO was fixed at one lot or 46 shares aggregating to an investment of Rs 14,996.
