Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) revised its fixed deposit (FD) rates on July 27, 2026. Senior citizens can now avail of up to 7.15 per cent on their FDs with the bank. Besides offering FDs for a minimum tenure of seven days to a maximum tenure of 120 months (10 years), the bank is also offering two special FDs, one of which is offering the highest deposit rate of 7.15 per cent to senior citizens.
Senior citizens (60 years and above), who want to park their excess funds or seek guaranteed income, may check these rates. The bank offers the highest deposit rate of 6.65 per cent to the general public and an additional 0.50 per cent (50 basis points) to seniors on all FDs with tenures of 91 days or more.
Here are the revised FD interest rates for seniors at BoM.
2.60 per cent for 7-30 days
2.75 per cent for 31-45 days
3.75 per cent for 46-90 days

Special FDs:
7.15 per cent for 400 days
6.55 per cent for 1777 days (Green Deposit)
Green deposits are similar to other FDs. However, for the bank, the funds collected under green FDs have to be invested only for eco-friendly projects, such as renewable energy, waste management, and so on.
Bank deposits are covered under the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) for up to Rs 5 lakh.
These rates are for callable FDs that can be withdrawn before maturity. However, in the case of premature withdrawal, the deposit rate is reduced by 1 per cent from the applicable rate for the period the FD remained with the bank.
