The global crypto market declined marginally on Thursday, even as Bitcoin held steady around the $104,000-mark. At the time of writing, the total market cap was down by 1.01 per cent to $3.31 trillion, while the 24-hour crypto trading volume dipped by 3.49 per cent to $211.33 billion.

Lagrange LA was the most trending cryptocurrency. Its price was up by 105.06 per cent to $0.002689. Its 24-hour trading volume was $317.43 million. PancakeSwap CAKE was the top gainer, up by 3.55 per cent, with a 24-hour trading volume of $6.25 million, while Fartcoin FARTCOIN was the top loser. It was down by 17.55 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $211.33 million.

The DeFi market cap was at $36.20 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

CoinSwitch said that Bitcoin saw a modest pullback of 0.60 per cent over the past 24 hours, currently trading near the $105,050-mark. Despite the minor dip, Bitcoin continued to hold strong above the $100,000-mark for the 25th consecutive day. Ethereum remained flat, hovering at $2,622 with no significant movement, it said.

“On the institutional front, Tether announced a strategic investment in Orionx, a Chile-based digital asset exchange and financial infrastructure firm focused on cross-border payments, marking Tether’s expanding interest in Latin America,” it added.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin prices were down by 0.76 per cent to $104,555.91. Its 24-hour trading volume was $42.68 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.60 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were down by 1.01 per cent to $2,612.87. Its 24-hour trading volume was $16.88 billion, and its market dominance was 9.30 per cent.

Tether (USDT): Tether was trading at $1. It was up by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $66.18 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana prices were down by 2.48 per cent to $152.92. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.86 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $20.15, down by 5.58 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $323.23 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.6766, up by 2.36 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $526.78 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin was down by 0.64 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1891.

Shiba Inu was down by 2.57 per cent to $0.00001276.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi Coin was up by 0.51 per cent, and it was trading at $0.003067.

Yearn Finance was up by 3.29 per cent to $5,159.47, with a 24-hour trading volume of $11.97 million.
