Axis Mutual Fund has introduced 'Rozana SIP' for daily investment option
Access to a basket of equity, hybrid, debt and gold-oriented schemes is available
Axis Mutual Fund has introduced 'Rozana SIP', a new digital investment feature that allows investors to start systematic investment plans (SIPs) with contributions as low as Rs. 10 per scheme per day. The asset management company says the initiative is aimed at making mutual fund investing more affordable and accessible, particularly for first-time investors, young earners, students and individuals with irregular income streams.
Billed by the mutual fund company as an industry-first bundled daily SIP offering, ‘Rozana SIP’ enables investors to spread their investments across multiple mutual fund schemes through a single digital setup. Investors can choose a minimum of two schemes and invest Rs. 10 per scheme each day, while having the flexibility to expand their portfolio to as many as 10 schemes based on their financial goals and risk appetite. There is no upper investment limit, allowing users to gradually increase their contributions over time.
The platform currently offers access to a basket of equity, hybrid, debt and gold-oriented schemes, including Axis Multicap Fund, Axis Small Cap Fund, Axis Flexi Cap Fund, Axis Large Cap Fund, Axis Gold Fund, Axis Balanced Advantage Fund, Axis Multi Asset Allocation Fund and short-duration debt funds. The company says this built-in diversification is intended to help investors create balanced portfolios without requiring large upfront investments.
The launch comes at a time when retail participation in mutual funds continues to rise, with SIPs becoming one of the preferred investment routes for long-term wealth creation. However, many first-time investors still hesitate due to limited disposable income, lack of financial awareness and concerns about market volatility. Axis Mutual Fund believes that reducing the minimum investment amount and introducing daily investing can help overcome these barriers while encouraging a disciplined savings habit.
Commenting on the launch, Boniface Noronha, Head of Digital Business at Axis Mutual Fund, said the company has consistently focused on making investing more inclusive and convenient. He noted that Rozana SIP has been designed to simplify the investment journey by enabling customers to invest small amounts on a daily basis through a transparent and easy-to-use digital platform. According to him, the initiative reflects the company's broader effort to widen mutual fund participation across geographies, income segments and varying levels of financial literacy.
Rozana SIP is currently available through Axis Mutual Fund's website. While the feature lowers the entry barrier for investing, financial experts continue to advise investors to select schemes based on their investment objectives, risk tolerance and time horizon. As with all mutual fund investments, returns are subject to market risks, and investors should carefully read the scheme-related documents before investing.
