Share Market News: D-street is likely to factor in several cues ranging from gains in Asian indices, changes in key commodity prices and the June quarter earnings declared by companies on July 24. The market is also likely to react to any developments related to the signing of trade deals between US and its trading partners ahead of the August 1 tariff imposition deadline.

On July 24, the Gift Nifty started the session higher by 0.047 per cent at 25,304.5. Earlier on July 23, the headline indices finished the session in the green zone with the Nifty 50 closing at 25,219.9 up by 159 points or 0.63 per cent. The 30-share Sensex ended the session at 82,726.64 levels gaining 539.83 points or 0.66 per cent.

US-Japan Trade Deal

Earlier on July 23, the US President Donald Trump announced the signing of a trade deal between the US and Japan. As a part of the deal 15 per cent tariffs will be levied on Japanese goods imported by the US. Additionally Japan will also open its markets for American goods, such as cars, trucks, rice, and other agricultural products.

Crude Oil Prices On July 24

Crude oil prices inched upwards in the early hours of July 24, the price of West Texas Intermediate crude increased to $65.45 up by $0.2 or 0.31 per cent. Brent Crude prices also increased by 0.28 per cent to $68.7.

Gold Rates Today

The rate of one gram of 24 karat purity gold is Rs 10,234 on July 24. On the other hand the prices of one gram of 22 karat gold and 18 karat gold are Rs 9381 and Rs 7676 respectively.

Stocks In Focus On July 24

On July 24 several companies are set to announce their results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, these include Nestle India, Bajaj Finance,SBI Life Insurance Company, Canara Bank, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, ACC, Adani Energy Solutions, APL Apollo Tubes, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, Coromandel International, Cyient, Hexaware Technologies, Indian Energy Exchange, Indian Bank, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Mphasis, REC, Tanla Platforms, Trident, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, and UTI Asset Management Company.

Reliance Industries

Reliance Industries shares are likely to be in focus after the company informed the exchanges that its wholly owned subsidiary Nauyaan Tradings has purchased a 9.9 per cent equity stake in Nauyaan Shipyard from Welspun Corp. Nauyaan Tradings is a subsidiary of a Reliance group company called Reliance Strategic Business Ventures. The estimated size of the stake sale is Rs 54.7 crore.

IndusInd Bank Fundraise

IndusInd bank shares are likely to be in focus on July 24 after the company informed the exchanges that its board has approved the raising of funds up to Rs 20,000 crore through either the debt route or a further issue or placement of securities amounting to Rs 10,000 crore.

Natco Pharma

Natco Pharma shares are likely to be in focus today after the company informed the exchanges that its board has greenlit the acquisition of a 35.75 per cent stake in Adcock Ingram Holdings, South Africa. The estimated size of the deal is Rs 2,000 crore.

BEML

BEML share price is likely to be in focus on July 24 after the company informed the exchanges that it has bagged an order from the Ministry of Defence for supplying HMV 6x6 vehicles, with a contract value of Rs 293.82 crore.

Tilaknagar Industries

Tilaknagar Industries informed the exchanges on July 23 that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Imperial Blue liquor division from Pernod Ricard India. The acquisition will be done through a slump sale for Rs 4,150 crore.

Inox Wind

Inox Wind informed the exchanges via a filing that its board has approved the issue of 10.41 crore equity shares worth Rs 1,249.33 crore on a rights basis.

Tanla Platforms

Tanla Platforms informed the exchanges that the shareholders of the company have greenlit the appointment of Deepak Satyaprakash Goyal as Executive Director.

US Markets End In Green

Key US market indices finished the session in green on July 24. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained the most among US market indices closing at 45,010.29 up by 507.85 points or 1.14 per cent. The Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 also ended the session higher by 0.61 per cent and 0.78 per cent respectively.

Asian Indices Trade Mixed On July 24

The Nikkei 225 continued to gain for the second straight day following the signing of a trade deal between Japan and US. At the time of writing the Nikkei 225 traded higher by 1.69 per cent. Other Asian indices such as the Hang Seng, KOSPI and the Shanghai Composite traded higher by 0.44 per cent, 0.33 per cent and 0.48 per cent respectively.
