Share Market News: The headline indices are likely to open higher on July 15 amid mixed global cues. The Gift Nifty opened marginally higher today at 25,187.5 up by 0.05 per cent. Asian indices also traded in the green in the early hours of July 15. However the market is expected to factor in US President Donald Trump’s latest announcement related to Russia. The US President has threatened to impose heavy tariffs on Russia unless the country inks a peace deal with Ukraine within 50 days. Closer home the market is expected to continue to factor in the financial results declared by major companies.

Crude Oil Prices On July 15

In the early hours of July 15, crude oil prices witnessed declines as West Texas Intermediate Crude traded at $66.59 down by $0.39 or 0.58 per cent and Brent Crude traded at $68.88, down by $0.33 or 0.48 per cent.

Gold Rate On July 15

On July 15, gold prices edged higher amid rising uncertainty. The price of 1 gram of 24 karat purity is Rs 9,989 on July 15. On the other hand the prices of one gram of 22 karat purity gold and 18 karat gold are Rs 9,156 and Rs 7,492 respectively.

Stocks To Watch On July 15

The major companies which are scheduled to announce their financial results for the June quarter of FY 26 today include HDFC Life Insurance Company, HDB Financial Services, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Geojit Financial Services, GM Breweries, Just Dial, Bank of Maharashtra, Network 18 Media & Investments and Swaraj Engines. Power Mech Projects Share Price

Power Mech Projects share price is expected to be in focus on July 15 after the company informed the projects that it has bagged an order worth Rs 498.39 crore from SJVN Thermal (P) The company said that it has also received another order worth Rs 52.96 crore from Jhabua Power (a joint venture of NTPC).

RailTel Corporation of India

RailTel share price is expected to be in focus after the public sector company informed the exchanges that it has bagged an order worth Rs 264.07 crore from East Central Railway.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries

Sun Pharma shares are likely to be in focus after the company informed the exchanges that it has inked a settlement and license agreement with Incyte Corporation. The agreement is related to the litigation regarding LEQSELVI (deuruxolitinib). The drug is used for treating severe alopecia areata.

Life Insurance Corporation of India

LIC shares are likely to be in focus on July 15 after the Government of India appointed R Doraiswamy to the post of CEO and MD of LIC for a three-year term, effective July 14.

US Markets End In Green

Wall Street indices finished in the green on July 15. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed higher by 88.14 points or 0.2 per cent at 44,459.65. On the other hand the Nasdaq finished the session at 20,640.33 up by 54.8 points or 0.27 per cent. The S&P 500 finished the session at 6,268.56 up by 8.81 points or 0.14 per cent.

Asian Markets On July 15

In the early hours of July 15 major Asian indices traded mixed with the Nikkei 225 and the Hang Seng trading higher with 0.1 per cent and 0.15 per cent respectively. On the other hand the Shanghai Composite and the KOSPI declined 0.94 per cent and 0.13 per cent respectively.
