Studds Accessories IPO was open for subscription from October 30 to November 3, during which it garnered an overall subscription of 73.25 times the total shares on offer.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) booked the issue 159.99 times, non-institutional investors (NIIs) subscribed 76.99 times, and the retail investors quota was booked 22.09 times.

Studds Accessories raised Rs 455.49 crore from its public issue, which consisted entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of 7.80 million shares. The price band was set at Rs 557-585 per share.

The registrar for Studds Accessories IPO was MUFG Intime India and the book running lead manager for the public issue was IIFL Capital Services.

Studds Accessories did not receive any proceeds from the public issue as it was entirely an OFS component.

Studds Accessories: What The Company Does

Founded in 1975, Studds Accessories is one of India’s leading manufacturers of two-wheeler helmets and motorcycle accessories. The company operates under two brands. The first one is  Studds, which caters to the mass and mid-market segments, and the second is SMK, which targets premium riders. 

Studds also makes helmets for international brands such as Jay Squared LLC (Daytona) and O’Neal, and has distribution across Europe, the US, and Australia. It supplies products to major OEMs, including Hero MotoCorp, Honda Cars India, Suzuki Motorcycle India, Eicher Motors (Royal Enfield), and India Yamaha Motor, as well as institutional buyers like the Central Police Canteens and the Canteen Stores Department (CSD). 

The company operates from four manufacturing plants in Faridabad, Haryana. According to its red herring prospectus, the helmet-maker offered over 19,000 SKUs and 240 helmet designs across its portfolio, as of August 31, 2025. In FY25, the company sold about 7.4 million helmets.
