Infrastructure development company Technocraft Ventures' initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription on August 7, 2006. The issue is slated to close for subscription on August 11. On the first day of subscription, the issue has been fully subscribed across categories at the time of writing. Here are some key details of the public issue which applicants should know before applying for the IPO.

Technocraft Ventures IPO Subscription

The IPO has been subscribed 1.63 times on the first day of subscription. Cumulatively, investors have begun placing bids for 13.51 million shares reserved for the category compared to the 8.31 million shares set aside for the issue (net of shares allotted to anchor investors).

Retail individual investors (RIIs) placed bids for 2.44 million shares, booking the issue 59 per cent against the quota of 4.15 million shares set aside for their category. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) have booked their quota 3.81 times by bidding for 9.05 million shares against the 2.37 million shares set aside for their category. Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) have a quota of 1.78 million shares reserved for them. They applied for 2.02 million shares, booking the issue 1.13 times in their category.

Shares of Technocraft Ventures are currently commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of Rs 16 above the upper end of the price band. Considering the upper price band of Rs 212 and the current GMP trends, shares of the company are expected to list at Rs 228 apiece, indicating an estimated listing premium of 7.55 per cent. 

Investors must note that GMP is an unofficial market indicator and does not guarantee actual listing performance.

Technocraft Ventures IPO Offer Size, Listing Date, Price Band

The issue size aggregates to Rs 251.88 crore and consists of a fresh issue of 9.50 million shares aggregating to Rs 201.51 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 2.37 million shares aggregating to Rs 50.37 crore. The price band has been fixed at Rs 200-212 per share.

RIIs can apply for the infrastructure firm's public issue by placing bids for 70 shares or 1 lot, aggregating to a minimum investment of Rs 14,840 at the upper price band.

Technocraft Ventures will finalise the share allotment status of the public issue on August 12. Successful applicants will receive shares in their demat accounts on August 13. Refunds will be issued for unsuccessful applicants on August 13 as well. Shares of Technocraft Ventures will tentatively list on the BSE and the NSE on August 14.

Technocraft Ventures: Key Financials

The infrastructure firm's total income for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, stood at Rs 347 crore, up by 23 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) compared to Rs 281 crore. The company’s profit-after-tax (PAT) for the same period stood at Rs 43.32 crore, up by 54 per cent compared to Rs 28.20 crore in the preceding fiscal. The net worth of the company grew to Rs 163.38 crore compared to Rs 119.98 crore.

Technocraft Ventures IPO: Reservation

A major part of the public issue has been set aside for QIBs and RIIs. As much as 35 per cent of the offer size is reserved for the Retail category, 15 per cent has been set aside for NIIs, and the remaining 50 per cent is allocated to QIBs (including the anchor investor portion).

Technocraft Ventures: Promoters

The promoters of the company include Sanjay Tyagi, Rekha Tyagi, Kartikey Tyagi, Kartikey Constructions, and Sanjay Tyagi (HUF). The promoters' pre-issue holding of 100 per cent will reduce to 70 per cent once the stock lists.

Technocraft Ventures IPO: Objective

The company plans to use the net proceeds of the public issue to meet working capital requirements estimated at Rs 150 crore, and for general corporate purposes.
