What is Ladli Behna Yojana
The Ladli Behna Yojana is a welfare scheme by the Madhya Pradesh government, launched under then-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in January 2023. The program aims to empower women economically and promote their participation in household decision-making. So far, 29 instalments have been distributed to beneficiaries.
The scheme is applicable only to women who are residents of Madhya Pradesh. Under the current phase, beneficiaries receive Rs 1,500 per month. The amount has been gradually increased over time, starting at Rs 1,000, then raised to Rs 1,250, and most recently to Rs 1,500 as of November 2025.
When Will the 30th Instalment of Ladli Behna Yojana Be Credited
In October, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1,541 crore to the bank accounts of around 12.6 million beneficiaries under the 29th instalment of the Ladli Behna Yojana through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The 29th instalment under the Ladli Behna Yojana was released on October 12, 2025. As per media reports, the 30th instalment for November is also expected to be credited around the same time this month.
Who Is Eligible for Ladli Behna Yojana
The Ladli Behna Yojana is open to only married women living in Madhya Pradesh who are between 21 and 60 years of age. To be eligible, the applicant and her family must not own a four-wheeler, pay income tax, or be employed in any government position. The overall annual family income should also be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
How to Check Ladli Behna Yojana Payment Status Online
Beneficiaries can check their payment details and instalment status online by visiting the official portal. They must use their application number or composite ID to verify information that includes the date, amount, and status of their most recent credited instalment.
