Paytm has rolled out a new privacy feature named 'Hide Payment' to provide users with greater control over their payment history. The new feature enables users to cover certain payments in the "Balance & History" section of the app. It was rolled out following users' feedback to provide greater privacy when using online payment systems.
The company stated that the feature aims to provide users with more control and convenience in daily payments by enabling them to control transaction visibility. Paytm further stated that it remains committed to what users want, and this feature update is a step in its continued efforts to enhance mobile payments.

How to 'Hide Payment' Feature
Paytm users can quickly conceal their transactions by using some simple steps:
1. Launch the Paytm app and access the "Balance & History" section.
2. Locate the payment you wish to conceal and swipe left on the payment.
3. Press on the "Hide" option.
4. Tap "Yes" to confirm the action.
5. The chosen payment will now not be visible in the visible history.
That implies that the transaction will not appear when a person looks at your payment history on the app, allowing the users to keep their privacy, most especially in public or shared environments.
