For starters, happiness is up for sale – at least till you hit $75,000 a year. Studies found that emotional well-being skyrockets as incomes approach this magic number! This isn't just spare change; it’s a lifeline to stress relief and the joy of your kids not having to wear cardboard shoes.

But wait, there’s more! Another study showed that spending cash on experiences like a trip to Bora Bora or a Bruno Mars concert leads to longer-lasting happiness compared to snagging the latest iPhone.

And, remember when mom said, “It’s better to give than to receive?” Mama knows best! A Harvard Business School report found that spending money on others leads to bigger smiles than spending on oneself. So, next time you see that scrumptious cake, buy it for your buddy and score some happiness points.

Now don’t get reckless, my fellow money magicians. While money can cast a spell for happiness, it’s not the wand that cures all. Let’s not forget the power of love, friendship, and a good Netflix binge.
