I filed my tax returns online but am yet to get confirmation on the same. How do I verify if they've received it?

With income tax returns being filed online by most tax payers, the tax department has setup a process to verify the status of ITR-V at incometaxindia.gov.in, the website where you also could file your tax returns. In case the acknowledgement on your tax filing is not confirmed, you have the recourse to send the acknowledgment form a second time or any number of times until it is accepted.
