A three-day management and cultural fest organised by the Bhubaneswar-based Xavier Institute of Management, one of India's leading management institutes, has concluded with pomp and gaiety.
The institute's flagship cultural festival, dubbed "Xpressions 22", kicked off on January 2023 and saw the participation of scores of business leaders, faculty members, students, artists, musicians, cultural troupes, and other guests. It is considered eastern India's largest management and cultural festival.
The first-day celebrations kicked off with the inaugural ceremony at the institute's vast auditorium, which hosts a plethora of business and cultural events around the year, with participants from reputed institutes and corporate houses across the country.

The day's business events comprised the "Model United Nations", Maxim Mela, and a gaming event called Xigabytes, organised by the speak-up committee, MAXIM, the marketing association, and X-SYS, the systems association of the institute. In addition, online business events such as Inquizzitive, Maven, and Trade Wars were organised by various college committees, the institute said in a press release.
The stage events included "Rap It Up", a rap music battle, "Aaghaz", a nukkad natak, and Decibelz. Also, campus events, such as Flight of Fancy, Lensation, Zorbing, Bungee Basketball, and Rifle Shooting, were organised. An event for specially-abled kids, X-Enable, was organised by the social responsibility cell. The first-day events ended with a stellar performance by famed stand-up comedian Karunesh Talwar.

The second day saw numerous yet exciting business and cultural events. Events such as Model United Nations and Xigabytes continued on the second day. X-FIN, the finance association of XIM, organised FinBid, a bidding session to test the participants' strategic acumen.
The second day also saw the event called Xhillerate, organised by the college's consulting and strategy association, Constrat. The online business event Inquizzitive was also held.
The stage events included Pratibimb, Dhoon, Punchline, and Carnival De Vogue, in which various teams participated. The campus events, such as Flight of Fancy and Vaktritva, were organised. The second day ended with a celebrity night with participants like Olly Esse and Zephyrtone.
The last day's business events included the Model United Nations, followed by "Pitch it Abroad", organised by the college's international relation committee. The flagship event, Jack Of All Trades, was organized on the final day, besides Maxim Mela, Xigabytes, and X-Stec programmes.
The stage events included a painting competition called Paint@XIMB, a musical event, Goonj, and Thirkan, a dance competition. Vridhi, a national-level case competition, was organised as part of the campus event. The day concluded with a performance by renowned artist Vishal-Sheykhar.
