Kaia KAIA was the top gainer. It was up by 5.13 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $60.84 million. THORChain RUNE was the top loser. It was down by 17.19 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $507.53 million.
DeFi was down by 3.00 per cent to $3.22 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder & CEO, Unocoin said, "Bitcoin continues its downtrend, trading below $94,000 on Thursday after a 5% drop this week. Institutional demand appears to be weakening as bitcoin US spot ETFs saw a significant outflow of $568 million on Wednesday, the largest one-day outflow since December 19, according to Coinglass. Data from CryptoQuant suggests that the declining influx of stablecoins is reducing buying pressure, further indicating a potential price decline. The correction, now in its third straight day, underscores the weakening demand from institutional investors. If these trends persist or intensify, the price of Bitcoin may face further downward pressure in the coming days."
