XRP XRP was the most trending cryptocurrency. It is also currently ranked fourth on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. It was down by 5.13 per cent to $2.31. Its 24-hour trading volume was 13.78 billion. Bitget Token BGB was the top gainer. It was up by 33.21 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $223.04 million. IOTA IOTA was the top loser. It was down by 8.22 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $210.13 million.
DeFi was up by 4.85 per cent to $21.80 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

The rally was sparked by President-elect Donald Trump's announcement that Paul Atkins, a pro-crypto figure, would replace Gary Gensler as SEC Chair. The price of BTC continued to rise, reaching over $103,000, and analysts are targeting $113,000, based on Fibonacci extension levels. While the Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily chart is above the overbought threshold of 70, indicating potential pullbacks, the upward trend persists, suggesting a possible continuation toward $125,000 if momentum holds."

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1.00. It was down by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $239.46 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
