The global crypto market decreased slightly on Friday with Bitcoin prices hovering a little over the $109,000 mark and Ethereum prices around the $2,500 mark. The total market cap was down by 0.26 per cent to $3.37 trillion, while the total trading volume also fell by 14.28 per cent to $111.38 billion.
Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 0.9 per cent to $109,198.10. Its 24-hour trading volume was 28.25 billion. Elsewhere, Pudgy Penguins PENGU was the top gainer. It was up by 6.93 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $543.18 million, while Sei SEI was the top loser. It was down by 7.46 per cent and its 24-hour trading volume was $229.91 million.

DeFi was down by 4.68 per cent to $817 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were down by 0.64 per cent to $2,574.17. Its 24-hour trading volume was $18.38 billion, and its market dominance was 9.20 per cent.
Tether (USDT): Tether USDT was trading at $1, same as yesterday. Its 24-hour trading volume was $69.98 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
