Om Freight Forwarders shares listed at a massive discount of nearly 40 per cent to its issue price, coming as a major disappointment to the allottees of its initial public offering (IPO).

On the NSE, Om Freight Forwarders shares opened at Rs 81.50 apiece, down 39.63 per cent, and on the BSE, the stock opened at Rs 82.50 per share, down 38.89 per cent from IPO price.

The company's market capitalisation post debut stood at Rs 277.82 crore.

Om Freight Forwarders IPO GMP Showed Weak Demand

Ahead of listing, Om Freight Forwarders shares were already trading at a modest discount of Rs 3 per share, or 2.22 per cent, signaling weak demand, though the fall at listing was much sharper than expected.

It is worth noting that GMPs show investor interest in an IPO, however, they do not always match how the stock performs on the exchange on the day of listing.

Om Freight Forwarders IPO Details

Om Freight Forwarders raised a total of Rs 122.3 crore through its IPO, which included a fresh issue of up to Rs 24.43 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 72.5 lakh shares by promoter shareholders. The IPO was open for subscription from September 29 to October 3, 2025, with a price band of Rs 120-129 per share.

The OFS saw Rahul J Joshi sell 39.875 lakh shares, Harmesh R Joshi offload 25.375 lakh shares, and Kamesh R Joshi divest 7.25 lakh shares. Proceeds from the fresh issue will primarily be used to fund capital expenditure, including the purchase of commercial vehicles and heavy equipment, with the remainder earmarked for general corporate purposes.
