Kusumgar IPO: Price Band and Lot Size

The price band for the Kusumgar IPO has been fixed in the range of Rs 398 to Rs 419 per share. Retail investors can apply for the issue by bidding for a minimum of 35 shares or 1 lot, totalling an investment of Rs 14,665 at the upper end of the price band.On the other hand, High Net worth Individuals (HNIs) can place bids by applying for a minimum of 14 lots or 490 shares amounting to Rs 2.05 lakh for the small HNI category, and 69 lots or 2415 shares for the big HNI category, amounting to Rs 10.11 lakh.

Kusumgar IPO: Offer Size and Selling Shareholders

Kusumgar plans to raise Rs 650 crore through its share sale. The company's public offering is entirely an offer for sale of 15.5 million shares aggregating up to Rs 650 crore. There is no fresh issue portion in this public issue. Thus, promoter selling shareholders Siddharth Yogesh Kusumgar, Sapna Siddharth Kusumgar, and Siddharth Yogesh Kusumgar HUF are paring their shares. The promoters hold 90.48 per cent stake in the company.

Kusumgar IPO: Key Financials

Kusumgar posted a total income of Rs 711.78 crore for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, decreasing by nearly 10 per cent from Rs 790.21 crore in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. The company’s net profit narrowed by 12 per cent to Rs 98.2 crore in FY26 compared to Rs 111.99 crore in the preceding fiscal. The net worth of the fabric maker declined by over 95 per cent to Rs 502.95 crore compared to Rs 257.75 crore in the preceding fiscal.

Kusumgar: Business Model

The company is a maker of woven, coated and laminated synthetic fabrics, which are also called engineered fabrics. The company makes over 1,000 unique fabric configurations (referred to as stock keeping units as of  March 31, 2026. The fabrics made by companies are used across industries such as aerospace and defence fabrics,  aerospace and defence solutions, industrial and automotive fabrics and outdoor and lifestyle fabrics. In FY26, the company generated 60.01 per cent of its revenue from within India and 39.99 per cent from outside India.

Kusumgar: Competitors

The company mentioned in its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) that it operates in a competitive market and faces competition from organised and unorganised engineered fabric manufacturers in India and overseas. The company’s listed peers include Garware Technical Fibres, Arvind and SRF.
