ITI Asset Management Company on February 5, 2025, launched the ITI Bharat COnsumption Fund. The fund is an open-ended thematic fund which is expected to follow the consumption theme, the company claimed in an official release. The scheme will open for subscription on February 6, 2025, and will close on February 20, 2025.

The Scheme’s investment focus would be mainly on consumption-related activities and allied sectors.

Rohan Korde, Fund Manager at ITI AMC “The consumption space offers a compelling investment opportunity, driven by rising incomes, evolving consumer behaviour patterns, and rapid growth in emerging markets. As economies recover and spending patterns shift toward premium and innovative products, this sector is poised for sustainable growth. Investing in a consumption-oriented fund would allow investors to capitalize on these long-term structural trends."

ITI Mutual Fund has crossed Rs 9566.51 crore assets under management (AUM) as of January 31, 2025.

Out of the total AUM, Equity AUM stood at Rs 8968.08 crore while Hybrid and Debt schemes were recorded at Rs 421.49 crore and Rs 494.37 crores respectively.

Through this fund, investors can get exposure to growth-driven consumer sectors like FMCG, auto, retail, healthcare, and others.

“The fund is likely to benefit from the evolving structural, cultural and digital factors seen in Indian consumers,” the company added.

The company claimed that the ITI Bharat Consumption Fund will offer long-term capital growth by investing in companies that are expected to grow directly or indirectly via domestic consumption-led demand. This is likely to offer diversification with the theme and potential capital growth.

The fund will be managed by Rohan Korde, Fund Manager, Equity at ITI Asset Management Company and Dhimant Shah, Senior Fund Manager, Equity at ITI Asset Management Company.

Who Should Invest in this Fund?

According to ITI AMC, the fund is most suited for multiple generations, who want a diversified portfolio that is spread across various sectors driven by consumption. The portfolio will be formulated through a combination of top-down and bottom-up methods, making the fund market agnostic.
