On the BSE, the shares were listed at Rs 162 per share, with a premium of 30.64 per cent above the upper end of the price band of Rs 124. On the NSE, the stock made its debut at Rs 165 apiece, with a premium of 33.06 per cent over the issue price.

Applicants who were successfully allotted a minimum of one lot or 120 shares of Pranav Constructions would have made a profit of around Rs 4,920 [(Rs 165 - Rs 124) x 120] after the stock listed on the exchanges. The company’s market capitalisation stood at Rs 1,824.49 crore after listing, and 5.18 lakh shares of the company changed hands.
Pranav Constructions IPO: Offer Size
The initial public offering (IPO) of Pranav Constructions was a book-built issue worth Rs 351.03 crore and consisted of a fresh issue of 25.45 million shares worth Rs 315.60 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 2.86 million shares amounting to Rs 35.43 crore.
The price band for the public issue was fixed at Rs 118-124 per share. The minimum lot size for retail investors was fixed at 120 shares, aggregating to an investment of Rs 14,880.
Pranav Constructions IPO: Subscription
The IPO saw strong demand and was oversubscribed 121 times during its subscription period from September 7 to September 9. Investors across categories placed bids for 2.72 billion shares compared to the total offer size of 22.46 million shares available.
Non-institutional investors (NIIs) booked their quota in the IPO 208.21 times. In this category, 4.44 million shares were offered and bids were received for 924.55 million shares. Within the NII segment, corporate bids accounted for 8.63 lakh shares.
Retail investors booked their quota 43.33 times, bidding for 577.17 million shares against the 13.32 million shares offered. The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) quota was subscribed 258.71 times, receiving bids for 1.22 billion shares against the 4.70 million shares offered.
Pranav Constructions: Promoters
The promoters of the company, Pranav Kiran Ashar and Ravi Ramalingam, diluted a portion of their stakes through the OFS. Following the listing of the stock, the promoter shareholding reduced to 49.03 per cent, down from 63.35 per cent prior to the public issue.
