Share Market Today: The Sensex and Nifty finished lower for the second straight day on July 10. The Sensex closed at 83,190.28 down by 345.8 points or 0.41 per cent. The Nifty 50 index ended the session at 25,355.25 down by 120.85 points or 0.47 per cent.
Bharti Airtel and Asian Paints Lead Losers
Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints, HDFC Life Insurance and Apollo Hospitals shares emerged as top-drags among Nifty 50 stocks as they closed lower by nearly 3 per cent on the NSE. Shares of Bharti Airtel declined the most as the stock finished lower by 2.76 per cent. On the other hand shares of IndusInd Bank, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Tata Steel and Bajaj Finance emerged as top gainers, closing higher by 1.56 per cent.

Nifty Realty and Nifty Metal Emerges As Top Gainers
The Nifty Realty and Nifty Metal indices came out as the top gainers among sectoral indices closing higher by 0.42 per cent and 0.72 per cent. The Nifty IT and the Nifty Pharma emerged as top losers closing lower by up to 0.8 per cent. Broader market indices extended declines on July 10 with the Nifty SmallCap 100 and the Nifty MidCap 100 closing lower by as much as 0.3 per cent.
Global Markets on July 10
On July 10, the Nikkei 225 finished the session lower by 0.44 per cent at 39,646.36 levels even as other Asian indices closed in the green. The Hang Seng index and KOSPI finished in the green on July 10 as the indices closed higher by up to 0.57 per cent and 1.55 per cent respectively. The Shanghai Composite index also closed at 3,509.68 up by 16.63 points or 0.47 per cent.
