  • Over 7.4 million farmers to benefit.

  • State scheme supplements PM-Kisan support.

This December, farmers in Rajasthan will receive the fifth instalment of CM Kisan Samman Yojana as a form of financial aid. This amount is expected to be credited into the bank accounts of the farmers around December 18 or 19, 2025. This state government’s scheme is designed to supplement the central PM Kisan Samman Nidhi support. CM Kisan Samman Yojana has already released four instalments this year.

The 5th instalment of CM Kisan Samman Yojana for Rajasthan’s farmers is expected to be credited to the accounts of eligible and registered farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. Officials from the state’s Cooperation Department have indicated that Chief Minister Bhanjanlal Sharma may be authorising the fifth release of the scheme around December 18-19, 2025. Once processed, this instalment will benefit over 7.40 million farmers in the state.

The CM Kisan Samman Yojana works alongside the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), which provides eligible farmers with an assistance of Rs 6,000 in three equal instalments annually. Aside from the PM-Kisan scheme, the state government gives an additional assistance of Rs 3,000 to its farmers under the state-level programme. This is also paid in three instalments of Rs 1,000 annually.

This assistance comes at a very significant time in the agricultural calendar, as the new sowing season is about to begin soon. Many farmers rely on such schemes to make investments towards purchases of seeds, fertilisers, and other inputs required for successful agricultural produce.

Since payments are linked to active registration, those whose registration is incomplete may face delays. Farmers who are keen to track their payment status can do so through the official portal managed by Rajasthan’s Cooperation Department. Entering the basic details like district, registration number, and beneficiaries can easily fetch details of the payment process.

In a state where agriculture remains one of the primary forms of livelihood for millions, timely financial support from schemes and programmes such as these is a vital support for many farmers.

For Rajasthan's agricultural community, predictable and timely release of such schemes is an essential for stability. The upcoming instalment will not only reinforce the state's commitment and but will also support stability of many farmers across the state.

If the December rollout comes on time as expected, it will help several farmers in need.
