At a glittering event in Dubai earlier this week, where Danube Properties launched its first commercial project, Shahrukhz by Danube, during a rapid fire round with Bollywood celebrity Farah Khan along with founder and chairman of Danube Group Rizwan Sajan, Shah Rukh talked about how you can motivate children only through your actions, and not by lecture. A gem that comes handy when you are training children in developing financial habits.
He was replying to a question by Farah Khan on the second generation carrying the legacy forward both in Sajan’s and Khan’s case. Sajan’s son Adel works closely with his father in Danube Properties as managing director; he is also founder, Danube Home and Danube Sports World. Meanwhile, Khan’s children Aryan and Suhana, are working in Bollywood as filmmaker and actress, respectively.
Sajan said he was blessed that his son is hardworking. “When you make money, I’ve seen children, especially the second generation, losing purpose. In our case, whether it’s Adel or his wife and children, they are all grounded and hardworking. We know that they will take the legacy forward.”
In fact, Sajan has a long-term plan. “I tell Adel that make sure your children, Armaan and Aryan should be taught the same way I taught you.”
Shahrukhz by Danube, which was unveiled in Mumbai earlier this year, is a premium commercial tower named in honour of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, possibly the first such initiative in the world.
The tower sets a new benchmark for premium commercial real estate in Dubai as it combines world-class architecture with an address inspired by the King of Bollywood, whose entrance will have his statue in his iconic arms-outstretched pose.
Spanning over 1 million square feet of built-up area, the tower boasts of more than 35 world-class amenities, including a sky pool and a dedicated helipad for air taxis. What makes it premium is its proximity to Dubai’s most iconic destinations, including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai International Airport, and the Gold Souk.
