Summary of this article

  • Commercial LPG prices cut by Rs 183.50.

  • Domestic LPG rates remain unchanged.

  • Businesses to benefit from lower fuel costs.

The oil marketing companies (OMCs) have cut down on the price of commercial LPG cylinders on July 1, 2026. This reduction is by Rs 183.50. This update provides significant relief to businesses that depend on commercial cooking gas. This latest revision brings the prices of commercial LPG cylinders in Delhi down to Rs 2,930.

This reduction marks the first move towards slashing the prices of LPG this year after a series of supply disruptions and higher energy prices that are direct consequences of the West Asia conflict. Commercial LPG prices are revised every month by OMCs, which follow the international benchmarks, in particular Saudi Aramco’s Official Selling Price (OSP). This price cut is expected to benefit commercial stakeholders like hotels, dhabas, caterers, and other food service businesses that are heavily dependent on commercial LPG for daily operations. The costs of LPG could help in reducing operating expenses for these establishments.

While commercial users have received relief, there has been no update on the price of domestic LPG cylinders. The price of the standard LPG of a 14.2 kg household LPG cylinder remains unchanged after the announcement on June 07, 2026. The June revision was the second hike in the last four months. Following the previous revision, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi stands at Rs 942, while the 19 kg commercial cylinder is priced at Rs 2,930.

Here’s a list of prices in other cities for commercial LPG,

  • Kolkata: Stands at Rs 3,081.50

  • Mumbai: Stands at Rs 2,885.50

  • Gurugram: Stands at Rs 2,947.50

  • Noida: Stands at Rs ₹2,930.00

  • Bhubaneswar: Stands at Rs 3,114.50

  • Hyderabad: Stands at Rs 3,191.00

  • Jaipur: Stands at Rs 2,957.50

  • Lucknow: Stands at Rs 3,052.50

The monthly revision in LPG prices reflects changes in international fuel prices and import costs. Commercial cylinders are more closely linked to global energy markets, which makes them more susceptible to monthly fluctuations as compared to domestic LPG prices.

The last reduction comes after the commercial LPG prices saw multiple increases earlier this year due to higher global energy prices and concerns related to supply concerns. This revision applies only to commercial LPG cylinders, which are used by businesses and do not affect household consumers.
