But if in case, you have not received your share of the benefits yet, here is what you can do.
Announcement of the 20th Installment
During his visit to Varanasi, PM Narendra Modi announced that as a part of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, a total amount of more than Rs 20,500 crore will be disbursed to over 97 million Indian farmers. Under this scheme, financial benefits worth Rs 6,000 per year will be disbursed to beneficiaries in three equal installments into farmers' Aadhaar-based bank accounts through DBT. This PM Kisan scheme was launched in 2019 to supplement the financial needs of land-holding farmers.
Installment Not Credited?
If you have not yet received the promised benefit worth Rs 2,000, it is very likely due to incorrect information in your application. Here is how you can update the information using the PM Kisan Portal:
Visit the official PM Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in)
Locate the "Farmer's Corner" section on the homepage (this section contains options for farmers, including self-registration, checking payment status, and updating details)
Click on "Updation of Self-Registered Farmer". This will redirect you to the page where you will be able to update your details
Enter your Aadhaar number when asked. This is asked to access your information
After you have entered your Aadhaar number, your existing details will be displayed.
On this page, you will be able to update information such as your name, address, bank account number and phone number.
Ensure all the new details are correct and in compliance with your official documents to avoid any discrepancies.
Once you have verified the details and click "Submit"

If your Aadhaar details do not match in PM Kisan and you are unable to rectify them via the online portal, you can visit the local CSC (Common Service Centre). Sometimes it may take a few days for the credited amount to reflect in your bank account due to delays in bank servers. In such instances, it is advisable to check the status regularly on the PM Kisan Portal.
