The 21st instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is likely to be disbursed to the eligible farmers by the end of November 2025. Though there is no official news regarding this, looking at the pattern of past disbursements, the monetary benefit is expected to be credited soon to the beneficiaries’ accounts.
The Need for a POC
For uninterrupted disbursements, farmers need to complete their know-your customer (KYC) and other formalities. The farmers should also have a clear idea about the POC or point of contact for any query regarding the scheme.
Farmers can reach out to the POC regarding any general clarification related to the scheme guidelines and procedures. It also assists in resolving specific errors that might create obstacles for the transfers of benefits such as e-KYC failure, Aadhaar name or mismatch of details, such as incorrect bank details, mobile number, and so on.
If a farmer does not get his/her instalment payment after its release, he/she can approach his/her assigned POC for inquiry into the matter. In some cases, physical verification by the POC may be used for selected beneficiaries to ensure that only genuinely eligible claims are processed and fraudulent ones are avoided.
The POCs also form part of the robust grievance redressal mechanism, put in place for time-bound resolution of complaints and ensuring that eligible farmers get their entitled financial assistance without any hassle.
How To Identify Your POC
Here's how you can find your POC to resolve any query under the PM Kisan scheme:
Go to the official website of the PM Kisan scheme (https://pmkisan.gov.in/)
Locate the 'Farmer's Corner' on the home page
Click on the 'Search your Point of Contact (POC)' option
You will be given two options: 'Select State Nodal' and 'Select district Nodal'
Click on 'Select district Nodal' to get more narrowed and filtered results
Select your state, and district and click on 'Search'. You will get a list displaying the name of the POC along with his/her mobile number and email address
The Centre has already released the 21st instalment of PM Kisan for flood and landslide-affected farmers of Jammu & Kashmir. Union Minister of Agriculture, Farmers' Welfare, and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, announced about this disbursement through video conferencing from New Delhi on October 7, 2025.
Under this instalment, Rs 171 crore has been directly transferred to the banks accounts of 855,000 farmers including 85,418 women farmers. With this, farmers in Jammu & Kashmir have received a cumulative assistance of Rs 4,052 crore under PM Kisan so far.
