Delays in transferring social security benefits can defeat the very purpose of these welfare measures for the economically weaker section of society. For whatever reasons these delays may arise, they force the marginalised individuals to run from pillar to post to secure their dues. The Bihar government has created the E-Labharti Pension Portal to address this issue precisely. This integrated portal provides information on the social security schemes and centralised data of beneficiaries to enable government departments to address issues, including transactions. Bihar has various schemes for the economically disadvantaged people. The platform provides information about social security schemes, like pensions for old-age, widow, disability, etc., how to apply, track application status, benefits received or pending, raise grievances, payment details, eligible beneficiaries, pending cases, etc. They can also get the information via a mobile app. Here are the main benefits of the e-labharti Pension Portal:
Integrated Information
The portal provides information on different pension schemes on a single platform. The beneficiaries can quickly check pension details, like beneficiaries authenticated by Aadhaar Jeevan Pramaan, pending Jeevan Pramaan list, and direct beneficiaries.
