Sensex, Nifty Today: Headline indices ended the session flat on June 10. The BSE Sensex finished the session lower by 0.06 per cent or 53.49 points at 82,391.72. The 50-share Nifty ended the session higher by 1.05 or x per cent at 25,104.25 levels.
Nifty Top Gainers and Losers
On June 10, Grasim, Tech Mahindra and Dr Reddy's Laboratories shares came out as top gainers among Nifty 50 stocks as they finished the session higher by up to 3.66 per cent. Trent, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and Bajaj Finance shares emerged as top losers, closing lower by as much as 1.65 per cent. Twenty-five constituents of the benchmark Nifty finished in the green, and 25 ended in red.

Nifty IT Shines Amid Declines
The Nifty IT index gained the most among all major sectoral indices on June 10 as it ended the session higher by 1.67 per cent. On the other hand, the Nifty SmallCap 100 and the Nifty MidCap 100 extended gains, ending higher by up to 0.14 per cent. Among major sectoral indices the Nifty Realty fell the most, closing lower by 1.14 per cent.
Global Markets on June 10
Key Wall Street indices traded with optimism on June 9 as the Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 ended in the green, up by as much as 0.09 per cent. On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended flat. Asian markets also traded in the green on June 10 as the Nikkei 225 added 0.32 per cent and the Kospi gained 0.56 per cent at the time of writing. However, other Asian indices like the Hang Seng and the Shanghai Composite traded lower by as much as 0.44 per cent.

Market Cues On June 10
Macroeconomic factors, such as India's retail inflation data for the month of May, are expected to impact D-street in the upcoming session. On the other hand, the outcome of US-China trade negotiations is also expected to impact the market. Notably, talks will be held between the two countries for the second day on June 10 in London.
