The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is offering a 25 per cent discount for serving and retired government officials under the ‘DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana.’ DDA will open the registration window tomorrow under the scheme for newly constructed flats in Nerula’s Pocket 9, which will offer ready-to-move-in 1-BHK, 2-BHK, and 3-BHK flats to Delhi residents.
Eligibility
All employees and retired employees of the central and state governments are eligible to avail the scheme. The 25 per cent rebate is also available to all employees and pension holders of public sector undertakings, government hospitals, corporations, or other affiliated organisations.
What Is DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana
DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana is a scheme that aims to offer affordable housing to employees working in the government and government-affiliated firms within Delhi. The scheme aims to create clusters of such employees living in a common neighbourhood, with the new and upcoming project in Narela.
Under this scheme, 1,168 flats have been made available in sectors A1 to A4 of Narela’s Pocket 9. These flats are located near Urban Extension Road-II (UER 2) and GT Karnal Road. The area has an upcoming metro station near the site. The site is located close to NH-8. The project offers parking spaces, community centres, and parks. The flats offered are freehold and have spacious balconies.

How To register
Go to the official site of DDA at eservices.dda.org.in. Navigate to the DDA Karamyogi Awas Yojna 2025 (FCFS). Read the brochure and click on ‘Apply here’. Provide your relevant bank details. This includes details of your bank account and your Permanent Account Number (PAN) card. To complete the registration, pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 2,500 on DDA’s ‘Awaas’ portal.
To register for a 1-BHK flat, the initial booking amount is fixed at Rs 50,000. For 2-BHK flats, the booking amount is Rs 4 lakh, and for 3-BHK flats, the amount is Rs 10 lakh. The amount will be adjusted against the final cost while buying the flat. Bookings for the flats open on January 14 and end on March 31.
